TERM 3 is going to be the bee’s knees!

TERM 3 THEME

SWITCHED ON BALLET AND ALL THAT JAZZ WITH ANGELINA BALLERINA

Here at CCBB we are looking forward to lots of exciting and fun new dance steps and props - fans, pretty boas, princess mats, sparkly roses, feather dusters and Angelina Stencils

Wiggle on down and dance the Charleston Dance, Rhythm & Blues, the Minuet and all those wonderful songs and dances from the Musicals -

new enchanting dance and ballet music - perfect for tiptoeing, twirling, curtseying and skipping.

CCBB's program this term will develop your child's grace, poise, strength, confidence, movement skills, artistic expression, musicality, imagination, coordination and balance.

During week 5 your child can invite a special friend(s) (for free) to High Tea at CCBB! Wear your most glamorous frock and sparkly accessories to class too!!

Meet Angelina Ballerina "live" at the end of Term!!!

Angelina Ballerina is a little star with big dreams of becoming a prima ballerina. This little mouse works hard to reach her goal and along the way, always learns from her mistakes.

Welcome to new Baby Ballerina Sara who has enrolled today!!!

Sara will be joining the Baby Ballet Class (2/3 years) on Saturdays at Toukley

"As a parent I particularly like that the music, dance steps and costuming is age appropriate - I have seen too many of my friends/family young children dancing to songs and doing moves in other dance schools that I feel inappropriate for their age - i like the innocence of your themes and that a love of dance shines through.
Isla responds well to you both and she loves the differing styles of traditional ballet and the jazz body movement. I'm really happy with the open classes too I hope this remains in place (understand not for term 4 though).
Only comment would be to look at streamlining re-enrolment for continuing students and to keep the atmosphere fun and light esp for the non graded ballerinas. The dance combinations are spot on - not too difficult or to basic and the use of props is an excellent tool to make learning fun. Isla loves her time with you so that is what I go on for satisfaction"

"We like the use of props and themes in the program which enhances engagement of joy and wonder in dance. CCBB allows my child to work on developing friendships through sharing and respect. The location and timetable also work very well for us.
The only suggestion I would make for this age group is to allow a bit more variety and freedom in the program to cater for individual expression and creativity. Perhaps some free form movement and improvisations. I think this could also help with stimulating fun and laughter."
