Week 10

Dear Parents.
It has been a very trying Term 3 for us and we would like thank you for understanding. We apologise if our communication with you has been a little impersonal and brief. We look forward to a very happy and a relatively stress-fee Term 4 leading up to our concert. We love working in a happy, positive and respectful environment with you and your children. We are always happy to discuss any of your concerns in a private meeting or by telephone or email.
Thank you Parents for making our job organising costume fittings and payments easy. We appreciate your patience.
Delivery for costumes can take 10 to 12 weeks so we have had a deadline to reach and your co-operation has been greatly appreciated.
Thanks for sitting in the white chairs at the end of Toukley Hall too. It has certainly helped to know that this viewing option will be of benefit to all especially the little dancers.

Open Days this week at Kanwal on Wednesday, Toukley on Thursday and Saturday are out of uniform. Wear your favourite dancing outfit/costume. Don't forget your ballet shoes with tights or socks.
Parents, Families and Friends welcome!!

Angelina Ballerina Day next Sunday!!!
Looking forward to a fun day and meeting Angelina Ballerina herself at Central School of Dance
P.S Please make sure you remove all buttons/pom poms from your ballerinas tutu from last year. Please make sure shoulders straps are sewn - NO safety pins please!!!

GlenGala Day Performance on Saturday 29th September
You will receive an email with info sheet next week so please check your emails.

Newsletter and invoices for Term 4 will be sent out next week as well.

Baby Pink or Hot Pink?

Clockwise from left Kinder Ballet Sugar Plum Fairy Costume, Baby Ballet Sugar Plum Fairy Overlay on hot pink tutu and Bubby Ballet Snowflake Overlay on classic pink tutu.
Introducing our new hot pink tutu!!!
Our Ballerinas now have the option of choosing our classic baby pink or our new hot pink tutu for class.
Specially designed for Bubby and Baby Ballerinas by Peter at North Shore Ballet.
Both tutus will be suitable for our end of term Open Days.

ps Say the word "ballerina" and most people will picture her in a tutu. Tutus have long been the most revered form of ballet costume; their angelic frothiness adds a magic quality to the look of a ballerina. When she wears one, she looks like a sugary confection that belongs on the grandest of cakes.
