Such a busy week last week with CCBB Ballerinas and Little Dancers happily dancing around the world with Dora!
The Mums' Dance Class was lots of fun and we are hoping to seeing a Mums' Dance Demo in the near future.
Lovely to see the Grade 1's dancing the new RAD Grade 1 too!!

Welcome Miss Marissa!!

Miss Marissa and Olivia

Marissa started dancing when she was 5 years old and has just turned 17 (yesterday). She trained in Ballet and Jazz with Karen Barker at Baby Ballerinas and Co. and Central School of Dance where she performed in numerous concerts and presentations. Marissa was a Student Teacher at Central School of Dance and she will continue her Teacher training this term with Miss Kim and Miss Charlotte at Central Coast Baby Ballet.

Awards and Prizes for Term 2

Open Day Term 2 will be all classes combined at Toukley Neighbourhood Centre on Saturday 30th June 2012.

Our Dora prizes for this Term!!!!

Student of the Term Prize will be a draw - Children receive a ticket for each Angelina sticker they receive in Term 2.

12month and 2yr Trophies

12mth Trophies will be awarded to Amelie, Jade, Olivia, Sophie, Gabbie, Jade N, Zoe and Lily. 

2yr Trophies will be awarded to Keira, Chloe and Isla.

Good news! We raised $46.00 with our gold coin donations last term - Thankyou Parents :) As a result, the $15 Dora Costume is now $14 to buy - instead of $15.

The more we fundraise the bigger the saving on costume costs for all Parents!!! We are still looking for new ideas to fundraise this Term - all suggestions welcome :) Please contact us via Facebook or email.

Dance Class for Mums

Now's the time to dance off those easter chocolates!!!

Next Term CCBB will be offering a Dance Class for Mums
About: Class will consist of warm up, a combination of  ballet, jazz and contemporary (modern) dance exercises, repertoire (learning a dance sequence) and cool down.
Beginners Welcome!!!

When: Thursdays at 6pm to 7pm
Where : Toukley Neighbourhood Centre
Classes are run on a casual drop-in basis.
Cost: $18 drop in class
Dance Cards available $75 (5 x classes) and $120 (10 x classes)
Join a class anytime – no bookings or enrolments are necessary.
Pay at the door or online before the class.
What to wear:
Footwear: ballet flats, jazz shoes, jazz sneakers, foot thongs, bare feet or cotton socks
Clothing: Non-restrictive and similar to something you would wear to the gym. e.g. tights with tutu, over-skirt or shorts, lycra leggins, leotard and tights, sports top, singlet or t-shirt.

What a busy week last week with our Open Days at Kanwal and Toukley.
Thanks Parents, Families and Friends for coming along to watch your wonderful dancers and be part of the fun and dress ups. We had a wonderful time!!!
We hope your Easter weekend was a happy one with lots of chocolate.
Miss Charlotte went to the Royal Easter Show at the weekend as well and has lots of Dora Goodies for Term 2!!!!
