Good luck Miss Kelly!!

Sadly we say goodbye to Miss Kelly who has recently been promoted in her "real" job.
Thank you for all your help every Saturday and we wish you every success with your career Kel.

Open Day at Toukley Today!

Off to a great start yesterday with our first Open Day with Kinder Ballet at Kanwal! Absolutely wonderful!

Week 10

Welcome to new Baby Ballerina, Grace who has enrolled in the Toukley Baby Ballet Class (2/3 years) next term.

Our last week of Term starts today with our Open Day for Kinder Ballet at Kanwal.
We will be taking photos for our website and videoing all our Open Day Classes.
We are really looking forward to seeing all our Ballerinas in their favourite costumes/fancy dresses!

3 days..

Sir Hopsalot - Easter bunny rabbit, handmade from quality sheep wool

until our first Open Day at Kanwal with Kinder Ballet!!
Don't forget out of uniform. Dress up as your favourite bunny, teddy bear, doll or nursery rhyme character. Gold coin donation (for our CCBB Costume Fund) would be appreciated.

"As a parent I particularly like that the music, dance steps and costuming is age appropriate - I have seen too many of my friends/family young children dancing to songs and doing moves in other dance schools that I feel inappropriate for their age - i like the innocence of your themes and that a love of dance shines through.
Isla responds well to you both and she loves the differing styles of traditional ballet and the jazz body movement. I'm really happy with the open classes too I hope this remains in place (understand not for term 4 though).
Only comment would be to look at streamlining re-enrolment for continuing students and to keep the atmosphere fun and light esp for the non graded ballerinas. The dance combinations are spot on - not too difficult or to basic and the use of props is an excellent tool to make learning fun. Isla loves her time with you so that is what I go on for satisfaction"

"We like the use of props and themes in the program which enhances engagement of joy and wonder in dance. CCBB allows my child to work on developing friendships through sharing and respect. The location and timetable also work very well for us.
The only suggestion I would make for this age group is to allow a bit more variety and freedom in the program to cater for individual expression and creativity. Perhaps some free form movement and improvisations. I think this could also help with stimulating fun and laughter."
