Wonderful news - Almost all of the concert tickets have sold!

 Don't forget Baby Ballerinas will be sitting either on the floor on their mats in the front, or on parents knees. 

Bubby Ballerinas - Please wear Minnie Mouse caps to ballet this week to practise for Open Day.

Reminder: Full Dress Rehearsal for all classes in Week 9 (Sat 22nd - Wed 26th). This includes hair, tights, costume and shoes. 

 DVD Payments are due next week. 

 Arrival times for Open Day:

Grades - 9.00am with hair and makeup already done.

Kinder/Baby/Bubby - 9.45am. 

 Presentations and arrival of Mickey & Minnie will be at 11.45am and ALL Ballerinas present will receive a certificate and special gift.  

The waiting room will be available on Open Day for toddlers/babies (toys and DVD's available).  

Help - volunteers needed for Open Day.

We would really appreciate if some parents can help out with selling refreshments after the Presentations on Open Day from 12pm- 1pm.

We also need 2 x Baby/Kinder Ballet Reps to arrive early on Open Day and check

all ballerinas are in FULL costume (tights, hair, shoes and costume) and hand out the bows.

If you can help out on the day, please email us asap.

Thank you to Miss Belinda and all the families who have sold cookies and raffle tickets this term. The Raffle will be drawn after the Presentations. 

We are offering a special prize for the family who sells the most cookies & raffle tickets.

Grade 1 & 2 Ballerinas - Final Costume fitting

A fantastic effort from our Grade Ballerinas last Friday!!!! Mrs Barker and Miss Karen were very impressed!!!
Miss Charlotte and I would love to enter you in your first  Eisteddfod next year!!! We know you are all winning dancers!!!

12 days until our dress rehearsal!!! Saturday 8th December - 9am - 1pm
Next week we will be taking individual photos in full costume before classes - Wednesday - Baby Ballet (Kanwal), Thursday - Kinder Ballet (Toukley) and Saturday - Bubby Ballet, Baby Ballet, Kinder Ballet, Jazz and Grades (Toukley). All group photos will be taken on Saturday 8th December at the Dress Rehearsal.
Final Reminder that raffle tickets/money are now overdue. All leather ballet shoes (Kinder/Grades)/tights have arrived. Payments are now overdue.

December Newsletter and Dress Rehearsal/Concert timetable will be going out at the end of this week :)

Sausage Sizzle/Concert Day
As we cannot get a barbeque for our proposed sausage sizzle we would very much appreciate if everyone could bring a plate of nibblies for our post concert party. We will be providing drinks and fairy bread/snacks for your children :)

Classes at Kanwal and Mums' Dance class will be extended 15 minutes every week until Open Day.

Week 9 - looking for models!!

Not long until Easter now and our end of Term Open Days at Toukley and Kanwal!!!!
This week we will be looking for 5 Ballerinas - one from each level - Bubby Ballet, Baby Ballet, Kinder Ballet, JB Jazz and Grade 1 to model our new CCBB Dance Bag!! (Mrs Barker will be selecting the Ballerina(s) from each grade.)
Don't forget - full uniform including headband, scrunchie, ballet tights and ballet shoes (clean) with groomed hair. (no jewellery please)
We will be giving away one of our fantastic new bags in our Term 2  EBD draw - Week 1 - Term 2
We are very excited about our Term 2 Theme - Adventures around the world with Dora the Explorer - more info coming soon and of course Term 2 will finish with our Semester 1 Open Day "On Stage" at Toukley Neighbourhood Centre with Student of the Term Prizes, Certificates and 12 month and 2 year Trophies!!!
We are looking forward to transforming our website for Dora the Explorer over the Easter Holidays and programming lots of new and exciting dance steps and sequences from all around the world!!
