Week 6

Dora and Friends - Kinder Ballet at Kanwal

Thanks to all our Ballerinas for bringing your friend(s) along to CCBB Dora and Friends last week!! It was lots of fun!!
Starting this week we will be handing out the Dora Costumes so please bring your payment of $14 or pay online. We will be handing out the 3 Dora Costumes to the facebook winners as well. One more Dora costume to be won - last draw Saturday 9th June!

Please remember that with winter nearly here that all Dancers wear their ballet tights and crossovers.
Please do not wear your ballet shoes outside and make sure that you change into your street clothes after class.

We are still working on the proposed timetable for Term 3 and we need your feedback so we would appreciate if all Parents could stay back after class for approximately 10 minutes to discuss options and class placements for your children.

Welcome

We are very pleased to welcome Julie Anderson as Associate Teacher to our Teaching Team.

Julie has two daughters attending CCBB - Isla and Linsey and also attends our Mums' Dance class on Thursday Nights.

Julie's teaching experience includes teaching RAD classes at the Robyn Hick School of Dancing and choreographing and teaching routines for students to perform at eisteddfods. She is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) through Charles Sturt University.

Christmas in July

Dear Parents,

The fundraising committee will be holding a raffle at the beginning of Term 3 for 

“Christmas in July” 

To make this raffle a success, we need your help!

We would appreciate any donations of non perishable food items or Christmas related products in order for us to make up hampers for prizes. 

Any donations can either be given to a fundraising representative at your appropriate ballet class or left in the basket at the door near the name badges at any time during Term 2. 

The representatives for your classes are as follows:

He’s so excited - he can’t wait to ride it! And when Alicia and some penguins get stuck in the ice, it’s Diego and Baby Jaguar to the rescue in ‘Diego the Hero’.

Look out for a great array of Dora products including toys, books, DVDs, clothes, accessories, and much more from all good retail stockists.

Screening at selected Hoyts cinemas from Saturday 5 May, for a strictly limited season.

Thank you Mums for attending our first Fundraising Meeting yesterday!

Lots of great fundraising ideas and goals!!

The Mums on our committee have very generously donated their time to raise funds towards CCBB's end of year concert costumes and we are looking forward to a very exciting and fun calendar of events and activities.

We are very fortunate to have Mums from every  age group on our new fundraising Committee and we look forward to all our Parents contributing towards and participating in the Committee's fundraising activities.
