Semester 2 Calendar

Term 3

Saturday 17th August
Changes to timetable
Bubby Ballet, Baby Tap and Baby/Kinder Classes from 10am to 12.00 will be taken by Miss Julie and Miss Belinda
Good luck to Grade 2 Ballerina, Paige who is competing in Ryde Eisteddfod the same day.
Jazz and Ballet Classes for Grades (12.15pm to 3pm) will be made up in weeks 6 & 7.
Note going out this week.

Saturday 24th August
All Cookies fundraising money to be collected.
Don't forget that the family who sells the most boxes of cookies (this term) and Raffle Tickets (next term) will win the beautiful Dolls house and furniture!!!!!

Grade 2 Exam Demonstration - 1pm to 3pm
at the Studio

Sunday 15th September
Grade 2 Exam - ~~10am to 12.30~~ NEW TIME - arrive at 8.15AM TO 11.15AM

"As a parent I particularly like that the music, dance steps and costuming is age appropriate - I have seen too many of my friends/family young children dancing to songs and doing moves in other dance schools that I feel inappropriate for their age - i like the innocence of your themes and that a love of dance shines through.
Isla responds well to you both and she loves the differing styles of traditional ballet and the jazz body movement. I'm really happy with the open classes too I hope this remains in place (understand not for term 4 though).
Only comment would be to look at streamlining re-enrolment for continuing students and to keep the atmosphere fun and light esp for the non graded ballerinas. The dance combinations are spot on - not too difficult or to basic and the use of props is an excellent tool to make learning fun. Isla loves her time with you so that is what I go on for satisfaction"

"We like the use of props and themes in the program which enhances engagement of joy and wonder in dance. CCBB allows my child to work on developing friendships through sharing and respect. The location and timetable also work very well for us.
The only suggestion I would make for this age group is to allow a bit more variety and freedom in the program to cater for individual expression and creativity. Perhaps some free form movement and improvisations. I think this could also help with stimulating fun and laughter."
